The Origin is really good. I think it’s the differences in character that really make it for me, like making Bright ambitious and fallible instead of a god of masculinity or making Sayla just that much harsher and more active. It’s an iteration on the original Gundam, not just a rehash, and that sort of creativity is really exactly what the franchise needed.

This rare and exceptional katana sword represents the very pinnacle of Japanese weapon craftsmanship. The handle is covered in white samé, the cured skin of a ray shark (commonly referred to as “shagreen”), and is intricately wrapped in a technique known as tsuka-ito.

rule 1 of weaponry: cost-benefit is king. generally, all it takes for a dirt farmer who trained for 45 minutes to kill Earl Dope of Jerkshire is something heavy with a nail put through it. the same principle holds true today, which is why the AK-47 is the finest rifle ever made.

There are people cancelling orders simply because it won’t come on day of release or it hasn’t come already
i canceled my order and bought it on hong kong PSN for like, 2 dollars more than it would be to get asian version with shipping and i have a good chunk left over for dlc. i was playing this morning, play-asia orders aren’t shipping out until the 30th and they might not get delivered before labor day weekend so uh, i think i made the right choice
pro tips from an evening of online:
-jonathan has a special “last ripple of my life”, costs one meter and brings him back whenever he dies w/ like 20% health, so people generally use it right at the start of a round
-it’s easy to avoid having to fight him again by just timing him out
-hol horse can shoot during his GUN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD power up, 2 shots w/ QCF+light, not sure what else he can do
-once j. geil is deployed (which happens as long as the bottle hits the ground, the bullet doesn’t have to impact it), he can come out AT ANY TIME, even when hol horse is down or being hit. needless to say this is really useful, especially since hol horse’s melee is crazy bad

I don’t want to be one of those fans who complains about a product in my fandom’s franchise not meeting my expectations / desires, but I feel like the character lineup in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle is absurd enough that it warrants discussion.
Over the past few days, four new…
Listen, I want more female characters too. I like FF as much as anyone else, WANNABEEE is one of my favorite battle cries in the series (even if I dislike part 5 overall), and Yukako Yamagishi Wants to Be Like Cinderella makes me cry evry tiem. But assuming we both watched footage of the same event, Bandai isn’t shunning their female fanbase by not adding these characters, they’re pandering to them. Lady fans at the event went crazy for Cars and Kakyoin, but as soon as Jolyne and Hermes came on the screen it was like someone had sucked all the air out of the area (to say nothing of poor Abdul. I’ve never heard a louder silence). I want more female characters and I think a lot of the overseas fans do, but male or female, I think we’re in disagreement with Japanese fans.
It’s an interesting predicament. From what I understand female fans in Japan kind of see these things a little differently from fans outside of Japan. :S And it’s not just JJBA - it’s other fandoms too.
What seems like total bogus to us seems pretty normal to the female fans in Japan… and I’m rather sad to hear from you that Jolyne and Hermes didn’t get the cheer (let alone Abdul D:) that other characters seem to have gotten…
No doubt. Hermes and Abdul’s voice actors did absolutely incredible jobs , too, so it’s a real bummer.
